Criminality, drugs and punishment

Crimes are a very big problem for the whole existence of mankind. I am sure that nowadays the crime is the bad part of the world where we live. In my opinion, most crimes are committed for money, not so much against people like in medieval times. The way of committing crimes is now more sophisticated.

Why do people commit crimes? So people commit crimes to be more powerful, to be rich and to have a lot of money. But someone can be obsessed with for example killing people. We can be divided into four crimes into four groups:

1. The first group is:

- drivers offenses - parking violation (is the act of parking a motor vehicle in a restricted place or for parking in an unauthorized manner), speeding (speed limits are generally indicated on a traffic sign reflecting the maximum or minimum permitted expressed as kilometers per hour or miles per hour), running a red light (when we drive quickly through a red traffic light instead of stopping)

- shoplifting (theft of goods from an open retail establishment, typically by concealing a store item

- pickpocketing (is a form of larceny that involves the stealing of money or other valuables from the person or a victim´s pocket without them noticing the theft at the time)

2. In the second group we include:

- burglary (is an unlawful entry into a building or other location for the purposes of committing an offense)

- robbery (is the crime of taking or attempting to take anything of value by force, the threat of force, or by putting the victim in fear. Robbery is differentiated from other forms of theft - such as burglary, shoplifting, pickpocketing, or car theft - by its inherently violent nature - a violent crime - whereas many lesser forms of theft are punished as misdemeanors, robbery is always a felony in jurisdictions that distinguish between the two.)

3. Crimes against people

- attacking someone and hurt him

- the rape (is a type of sexual assault)

- blackmailing (in an activity of coercion using the threat of revealing or publicizing either substantially true or false information about a person or people unless certain demands are met)

- kidnapping (is unlawful transportation and confinement of a person against their will)

4. Economical crimes:

- borrow money from someone and not to return it

- sale false things

- smuggling (is the illegal transportation of objects, substances, information or people, such as out of a house or buildings, into a prison, or across an international border, in violation of applicable laws or other regulations)

- tax evasion (is the illegal evasion of taxes by individuals, corporations, and trust. Tax evasion often entails taxpayers deliberately misrepresenting the true state of their affairs to the tax authorities to reduce their tax liability and includes dishonest tax reporting, such as declaring less income, profits or gains than the amounts actually earned, or overstating deductions)

We know a lot of punishments.

- community service - vandalism, spraying the wall

- fines - for speeding, illegal parking, when teenagers drink alcohol, smoking at the public places

- house arrest (electronic bracelet) - home detention is an alternative to imprisonment, its goals are both to reduce recidivism and to decrease the number of prisoners, thereby saving money for states and other jurisdictions. In some countries, house arrest is enforced through the use of technology products or services. One method is an electronic sensor locked around the offender´s ankle.

- prison - serious crimes

- capital punishment (death penalty) - it is a questionable question

I say YES for a death penalty.
